When Amado Macerio came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Bachicha FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Amado Macerio couldn't finish the play. If Carmelo Fortun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Donato Rico showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carmelo Fortun, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Francisco Eguerdi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Sambuca FC booed when Bachicha FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dalmacio Clemencin didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 18th minute of the match Valentin Quinto shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Donato Rico showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Sambuca FC's zone, Amado Macerio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Cesaro came out of the goal and Amado Macerio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Angelino Rocio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Julio Cesaro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sambuca FC's Julio Cesaro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Sambuca FC from getting a goal against them. Amado Macerio received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Julio Cesaro came out and tried to block the shot, but Amado Macerio slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 23rd minute. Julio Cesaro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amado Macerio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Angelino Rocio struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Julio Cesaro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bachicha FC. After 40 minutes of play, Sambuca FC's Francisco Eguerdi made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Donato Rico was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Amado Macerio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Francisco Eguerdi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Angelino Rocio in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Cesaro saved Sambuca FC from getting behind. In the 71st of the match, Francisco Eguerdi tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Donato Rico got in the way and made a wonderful save. Carmelo Fortun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Donato Rico tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angelino Rocio in the 78th minute of play forced Sambuca FC's goalkeeper Julio Cesaro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by German Celipe during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 80 played minutes Sambuca FC got a freekick which was hit by German Celipe. Bachicha FC's Angelino Rocio got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 87th minute of the game. One of Sambuca FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Bachicha FC:s goal. Sambuca FC:s Julio Cesaro showed great skill when he stopped Dalmacio Clemencin:s penalty. After 89 minutes, Virgilio Berart mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sambuca FC and the Bachicha FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Angelino Rocio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Cesaro having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jimeno Casomiro during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Bachicha FC were awarded a corner in the 97th minute after Sambuca FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Dalmacio Clemencin took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Modesto Fidele got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Julio Cesaro quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save.
