The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some careless play in the Capillitas defense, Roman Gizon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jorge Chumo. The Capillitas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jorge Chumo should have stopped the shot. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The wind increased when Santos Bermund made the kick off in the second half. Jorge Chumo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pedro Geleberto in the 56th minute. Roman Gizon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Chumo having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Arrecifes AFC's zone, Santos Bermund stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emanuel Loramendi came out of the goal and Santos Bermund tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Humberto Ihazintu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santos Bermund in the 69th minute of play forced Arrecifes AFC's goalkeeper Emanuel Loramendi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 74th minute, Santos Bermund got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Capillitas getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Benedicto Eusko hit a great ball. 84 minutes into the game, Roman Gizon recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jorge Chumo. Roman Gizon showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. In the 87th minute, Federico Naldo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Roman Gizon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Chumo having to interfere. In the 94th minute, Roman Gizon fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Jorge Chumo, passed just outside the right post. The Arrecifes AFC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
