If Prudencio Milio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 12 minutes, Baldomiro Urdin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Naranjito FC and the C.A. Victoriano Arenas players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 12th minute, Baldomiro Urdin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Americo Bermudez got free with Cornelio Noe in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 23rd minute, Prudencio Milio fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Marcelino Fagondos short, quick shot in the 39thth minute got Cornelio Noe to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Cornelio Noe was out of position in the 41 minute of play, and Prudencio Milio capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Prudencio Milio really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Cornelio Noe made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marcelino Fagondo in the 46th minute. After 46 minutes, Generoso Furman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Naranjito FC and the C.A. Victoriano Arenas players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Naranjito FC's Generoso Furman got a free kick in the 47th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The wind increased when Americo Bermudez made the kick off in the second half. Prudencio Milio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Marcelino Fagondo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cornelio Noe having to make a save. 2-1 became the score in the 57th minute when Anibal Peter elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 59 minutes into the match, Naranjito FC's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelino Fagondo came free, but Cornelio Noe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 61 played minutes Naranjito FC got a freekick which was hit by Generoso Furman. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Naranjito FC's goalkeeper Cornelio Noe, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 66thth minute of the game Americo Bermudez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Naranjito FC's Cornelio Noe was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Prudencio Milio came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the C.A. Victoriano Arenas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Prudencio Milio couldn't finish the play. When Anibal Peter came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Naranjito FC fans jumped to their feet. Victoriano Arenas's Americo Bermudez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cornelio Noe narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelino Fagondo in the 84th minute of play forced Naranjito FC's goalkeeper Cornelio Noe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cornelio Noe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Prudencio Milio in the 86th minute of play. Cornelio Noe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcelino Fagondo, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. In the 93rdth minute of the game Marcelino Fagondo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Naranjito FC's Cornelio Noe was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Americo Bermudez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cornelio Noe having to interfere. C.A. Victoriano Arenas walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
