In the 7th minute, Millonarios's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Freddy Mincho fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 10 minutes into the game, Millonarios's Adolfo Iyan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Igor Gines made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Eusebio Lauro in the 13thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Anastasio Evarado, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Adolfo Iyan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Igor Gines having to interfere. Anastasio Evarado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Freddy Mincho, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Teo Poncio's late challenge caught a Millonarios's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Teo Poncio helped the player get up and apologised. After 26 played minutes Callejeros FC got a freekick which was hit by Teo Poncio. Igor Gines made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adolfo Iyan in the 27th minute of play. Adolfo Iyan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Cristian Teodor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristian Teodor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Callejeros FC getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Teo Poncio hit a great ball. Millonarios's Adolfo Iyan got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cristian Teodor's late challenge caught a Callejeros FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cristian Teodor helped the player get up and apologised. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Igor Gines showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Teodor in the 56th minute of the match. Cristian Teodor hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. 64 minutes into the match, Millonarios's goal looked a bit too open when Freddy Mincho came free, but Anastasio Evarado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Adolfo Iyan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 87th minute Freddy Mincho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anastasio Evarado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 91st minute, Cristian Teodor fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Millonarios's Anastasio Evarado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Freddy Mincho in the 96th minute of play. The Callejeros FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Millonarios were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
