Rafael Celio hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. A collision led to Imperial Warriors getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Vicente Esiquio hit a great ball. When Justino Saturnin came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the ChichoVermu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Justino Saturnin couldn't finish the play. In the 30th minute, Antonio Guter got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Constantino Gonzo's late challenge caught a Imperial Warriors's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Constantino Gonzo helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, ChichoVermu's Constantino Gonzo got a free kick in the 36th minute. 37 minutes into the match, ChichoVermu's goal looked a bit too open when Lucio Roano came free, but Manuel Goi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pastor Rutenio couldn't finish the play. Fernando Rios made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Octavio Rayman in the 93rd minute of play. When Pastor Rutenio came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the ChichoVermu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pastor Rutenio couldn't finish the play. There was no doubt that ChichoVermu were the better team. ChichoVermu's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
