Spectators: 7245 (Terracing: 5435, Seating: 1666, VIP seats: 144) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Higinio Tabby got the match started through his kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Higinio Quentin in the 4th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Oscar Benat prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Higinio Quentin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Oscar Benat having to make a save. Higinio Tabby recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Emilio Pere fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Anfama AFC's protests and gave Emilio Pere a yellow card for diving instead. In the 11th minute Higinio Quentin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oscar Benat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 17 minutes into the game, Fulgencio Ursino was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gilbert's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Anfama AFC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Gilbert's Fulgencio Ursino got a free kick in the 17th minute. When Candido Gonza fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gilbert's protests and gave Candido Gonza a yellow card for diving instead. Iker Harkaitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Moises Phelipe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 30 minutes into the match, Anfama AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Higinio Tabby came free, but Oscar Benat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gilbert's Higinio Tabby got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Oscar Benat showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Higinio Tabby in the 39th minute of the match. Oscar Benat took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Higinio Quentin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 42 minutes, Eusebio Quinten mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Anfama AFC and the Gilbert players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 42nd minute, Eusebio Quinten hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Saul Sidoro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Moises Phelipe read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Higinio Quentin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oscar Benat having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 61 minutes, Higinio Quentin took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Oscar Benat to make any attempt to save it. Pedro Tipi charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pedro Tipi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Gilbert fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 65th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Anfama AFC a penalty, 67 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Emilio Pere, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Gilbert's Moises Phelipe. 2-2. Gilbert's Higinio Quentin got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Oscar Benat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Higinio Tabby, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. If Iker Harkaitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Saul Sidoro in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Moises Phelipe saved Gilbert from getting behind. Higinio Quentins short, quick shot in the 87thth minute got Oscar Benat to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Higinio Tabby had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 95th match minute, Gilbert was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Tipi to maneuver through the defense. Eusebio Quinten struck a weak shot in the 98th minute. Moises Phelipe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Anfama AFC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iker Harkaitz in the 100th minute of play forced Gilbert's goalkeeper Moises Phelipe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gilbert's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
