In the 25thth minute of the game Pedro Eriz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Atletico River Plate's Timotheus Kündgen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 25th minute, Abelardo Cloyo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Club Atletico River Plate's Nicanor Veremundo got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jacobo Dominguez came out of the goal and Silvestre Marko tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedro Eriz in the 47th minute of play forced Club Atletico River Plate's goalkeeper Timotheus Kündgen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Club Atletico River Plate players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Pasta Base FC were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Celestino Ellande to strike the kick off in the second half. If Nicanor Veremundo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 62 minutes, Orlando Dunixi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Atletico River Plate and the Pasta Base FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jacobo Dominguez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvestre Marko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvestre Marko in the 67th minute of play forced Pasta Base FC's goalkeeper Jacobo Dominguez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Gogo Rosalio fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pasta Base FC's protests and gave Gogo Rosalio a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Pasta Base FC getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Gogo Rosalio hit a great ball. Silvestre Marko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacobo Dominguez having to interfere. Luis Austin took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 75th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jacobo Dominguez. Pasta Base FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Club Atletico River Plate's Nicanor Veremundo got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jacobo Dominguez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicanor Veremundo in the 82nd minute of the match. Silvestre Marko struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Jacobo Dominguez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Atletico River Plate. 86 minutes into the match, Pasta Base FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nicanor Veremundo came free, but Jacobo Dominguez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 88 minutes, Nicanor Veremundo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Atletico River Plate's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nicanor Veremundo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Silvestre Marko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Jacobo Dominguez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
