The audience thought a goal was coming when Ciro Orlandus got free with Jacobo Dominguez in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Daniel Lertxun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Celestino Ellande, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. After 27 played minutes Pasta Base FC got a freekick which was hit by Norberto Fiz. Jacobo Dominguez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Salvador Lorencio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ciro Orlandus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg Jacobo Dominguez managed to avoid a goal in the 36thth minute, when Juancru FC's Ciro Orlandus fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Pedro Eriz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Daniel Lertxun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bonifacio Bide, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Pasta Base FC's zone, Salvador Lorencio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacobo Dominguez came out of the goal and Salvador Lorencio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 46th match minute, Pasta Base FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Norberto Fiz to maneuver through the defense. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Celestino Ellande made a kick off. After having played for 52 minutes, Ciro Orlandus managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Juancru FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ciro Orlandus was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Juancru FC's Ciro Orlandus got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Erubiel Quexal's late challenge caught a Juancru FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Erubiel Quexal helped the player get up and apologised. Erubiel Quexal hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Celestino Ellande's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Daniel Lertxun read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. Pedro Eriz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jacobo Dominguez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ciro Orlandus in the 80th minute of the match. Daniel Lertxun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Celestino Ellande in the 81st minute of the match. Pasta Base FC's Jacobo Dominguez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Salvador Lorencio in the 85th minute of play. Jacobo Dominguez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Salvador Lorencio in the 97th minute of the match. Pasta Base FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
