Fernando Rios came out of the goal and Teofilo Mendiko tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fernando Rios stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Teofilo Mendiko's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. Guaberto Jakue sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Vicente Esiquio kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Fernando Rios was a little too slow when Teofilo Mendiko got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 89th minute. The score was now 1-3. In the 97th minute, Guaberto Jakue got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the final whistle sounded Dorrego left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Imperial Warriors.
