In the 13th minute Higinio Tabby shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Goi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Manuel Goi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Higinio Tabby in the 15th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pastor Rutenio got free with Moises Phelipe in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 19 minutes into the game, Octavio Rayman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Moises Phelipe was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Justino Saturnin in the 24th minute of play forced Gilbert's goalkeeper Moises Phelipe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 25 minutes into the game, Justino Saturnin lined in a short shot 3-0 behind a frustrated Moises Phelipe. Manuel Goi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Higinio Quentin, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. ChichoVermu's Manuel Goi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Higinio Quentin in the 30th minute of play. Moises Phelipe made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Benito Norino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Moises Phelipe having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Higinio Tabby made a kick off. Higinio Tabby struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Manuel Goi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gilbert. Justino Saturnin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Moises Phelipe having to interfere. Pastor Rutenio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pastor Rutenio's late challenge caught a Gilbert's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pastor Rutenio helped the player get up and apologised. In the 59th match minute, ChichoVermu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pastor Rutenio to maneuver through the defense. Manuel Goi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Higinio Tabby, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 62 minutes into the match, Gilbert's goal looked a bit too open when Justino Saturnin came free, but Moises Phelipe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 63 minutes, Pastor Rutenio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ChichoVermu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pastor Rutenio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Moises Phelipe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Octavio Rayman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Octavio Rayman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 69 minutes into the match, Pastor Rutenio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Moises Phelipe. Gilbert's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pastor Rutenio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. In the 74th minute, Benito Norino ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Moises Phelipe was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. After having played for 81 minutes, Mateo Luzaide managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gilbert's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mateo Luzaide was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 85th minute, Octavio Rayman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ChichoVermu fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. Moises Phelipe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pastor Rutenio in the 94th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Octavio Rayman in the 96th minute of play forced Gilbert's goalkeeper Moises Phelipe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There was no doubt that ChichoVermu were the better team. ChichoVermu's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
