A wasted opportunity for Club Atletico River Plate. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nicanor Veremundo in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fernando Rios prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicanor Veremundo in the 23rd minute of play forced Imperial Warriors's goalkeeper Fernando Rios to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Imperial Warriors's Rafael Celio got a free kick in the 29th minute. Club Atletico River Plate's Pang Ming Zhen shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 30th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Fernando Rios but with some difficulty. Fernando Rios showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicanor Veremundo, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Silvestre Marko scored 1-0 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fernando Rios, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Fernando Rios was a little too slow when Abelardo Cloyo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 42nd minute. The score was now 2-0. Nicanor Veremundo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vicente Esiquio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nicanor Veremundo in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fernando Rios prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Antonio Guter received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Timotheus Kündgen came out and tried to block the shot, but Antonio Guter slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 55th minute. Filomeno Markel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fernando Rios stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Silvestre Marko's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. Filomeno Markel hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Nicanor Veremundo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 78 minutes into the match, Silvestre Marko notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Imperial Warriors's Fernando Rios. Fernando Rios was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nicanor Veremundo in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fernando Rios saved Imperial Warriors from getting behind. If Nicanor Veremundo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fernando Rios showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicanor Veremundo, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Silvestre Marko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Fernando Rios tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
