Moises Phelipe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Teodor in the 4th minute of play. In the 6th play minute Higinio Quentin came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Anastasio Evarado. 1-0. Anastasio Evarado made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Higinio Quentin sent off a good shot on target. Cristian Teodor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Moises Phelipe having to interfere. In the 19th play minute Higinio Quentin came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Anastasio Evarado. 2-0. In the 22nd match minute, Gilbert was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Higinio Tabby to maneuver through the defense. Adolfo Iyan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Moises Phelipe read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. Millonarios's Anastasio Evarado proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Millonarios from getting a goal against them. Gilbert's supporters rose to their feet, but Higinio Quentin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Anastasio Evarado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Adolfo Iyan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Moises Phelipe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 54th minute, but Moises Phelipe got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Gilbert hanging dry this time. Adolfo Iyan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Gilbert getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Felipe Phelipe hit a great ball. Anastasio Evarado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Higinio Tabby in the 61st minute of play. 70 minutes into the match, Millonarios's goal looked a bit too open when Higinio Quentin came free, but Anastasio Evarado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gilbert's Moises Phelipe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Teodor in the 74th minute of play. Higinio Quentin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Anastasio Evarado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Higinio Quentin in the 79th minute of play forced Millonarios's goalkeeper Anastasio Evarado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 84th minute, Inocencio Leoiar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Gilbert getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Jeremias Mercurio hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Higinio Tabby in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Anastasio Evarado prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Gilbert had won after a very even match.
