Freddy Mincho might have been able to make a better finish in the 5th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Moises Phelipe. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Freddy Mincho ran back to his position shaking his head. Igor Gines showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Higinio Tabby, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. After 27 minutes of play Gilbert's Ernesto Mosen was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, Gilbert's Ernesto Mosen got a free kick in the 27th minute. Moises Phelipe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Freddy Mincho, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Higinio Quentin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 41 minutes into the match, Callejeros FC's goalkeeper Igor Gines had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Higinio Quentin. After having played for 43 minutes, Eusebio Lauro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Callejeros FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eusebio Lauro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Freddy Mincho stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Pedro Tipi charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pedro Tipi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 52 minutes into the game, one of Gilbert:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. If Teo Macerio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Callejeros FC booed when Gilbert was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mateo Luzaide didn't get a good kick on the ball. With his leg Moises Phelipe managed to avoid a goal in the 62ndth minute, when Callejeros FC's Eusebio Lauro fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Gilbert's Moises Phelipe proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Gilbert from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Freddy Mincho in the 66th minute of play forced Gilbert's goalkeeper Moises Phelipe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Higinio Quentin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mateo Luzaide fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Igor Gines having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Gilbert's zone, Eusebio Lauro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Moises Phelipe came out of the goal and Eusebio Lauro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Through an outstanding action, after 79 minutes, Moises Phelipe successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 80th match minute, Callejeros FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oscar Nayely to maneuver through the defense. Moises Phelipe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Freddy Mincho, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. With a little luck, Gilbert's Moises Phelipe got control of the ball when Eusebio Lauro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Higinio Tabby charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Higinio Tabby the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Higinio Tabby kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. The Callejeros FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Callejeros FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
