Tadeo Socorro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jimeno Cidro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Domingos Gaitan in the 15th minute of play forced Ambrosetti's goalkeeper Tadeo Socorro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 22ndth minute of the game Domingos Gaitan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ambrosetti's Tadeo Socorro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 25th minute, Ramiro Estevez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tadeo Socorro was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Tadeo Socorro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robustiano Fiz in the 38th minute of the match. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

A hard shot 53 in the game by Domingos Gaitan from a close distance when the talented Tadeo Socorro managed to make a qualified save. Ambrosetti's players were relieved. Tadeo Socorro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ramiro Estevez went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. The throw-in from Clodoveo Fagildo in the 57th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Billinghurst's Lino Bernaldo. In the 61st minute, Domingos Gaitan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee felt a red card was in order, 63 minutes into the game, when Narciso Unai put in a rough tackle. Moises Corderun kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. 72 minutes into the game, Billinghurst's Lino Bernaldo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tadeo Socorro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-4. If Robustiano Fiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Ambrosetti defense, Robustiano Fiz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tadeo Socorro. The Ambrosetti fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tadeo Socorro should have stopped the shot. Ramiro Estevez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tadeo Socorro having to make a save. Billinghurst's Ramiro Estevez got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 93 minutes into the game, Ramiro Estevez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-6. Tadeo Socorro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 97th minute Moises Corderun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pascual Burni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle sounded Billinghurst left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Ambrosetti.
