The referee ignored Chorroarín's protests and gave Arnoldo Mero a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Chorroarín getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Arnoldo Mero hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Venancio Txerran in the 5th minute of play forced Chorroarín's goalkeeper Alvaro Garcia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 8th minute, David Orlan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 12 minutes into the game, Matias Gorka was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chorroarín's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mogigasta AFC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Chorroarín's Matias Gorka got a free kick in the 12th minute. After 19 played minutes Chorroarín got a freekick which was hit by Arnoldo Mero. In the 22nd minute Manuel Lehoi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelino Jaunzuria saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alvaro Garcia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Orlan in the 23rd minute of the match. Emanuel Lope sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 34th minute of the match Anier Tonio sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marcelino Jaunzuria skillfully saved the ball. If Venancio Txerran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Alvaro Garcia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Orlan in the 39th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Mogigasta AFC's Silvano Bemabe got a free kick in the 47th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Manuel Lehoi to make the kick off. The audience was convinced that Manuel Lehoi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcelino Jaunzuria was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Emanuel Lope managed to get in a good position for a shot. The goalkeeper, Alvaro Garcia, was totally fooled by Mogigasta AFC's Ariel Dominix, who 72 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. After a rather tough play, Chorroarín's Arnoldo Mero got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Mogigasta AFC's David Orlan got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. David Orlan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. David Orlan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Alvaro Garcia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Venancio Txerran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Chorroarín's zone, David Orlan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alvaro Garcia came out of the goal and David Orlan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 97th minute Emanuel Lope shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelino Jaunzuria saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Mogigasta AFC's zone, Manuel Lehoi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcelino Jaunzuria came out of the goal and Manuel Lehoi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
