But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Americo Rico couldn't finish the play. Carolo Cheche kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. In the 8th minute, Vicente Eneto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 10 minutes into the match, Americo Rico notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of River Plate CABALLITO's Isaias Florian. Isaias Florian was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Fulgencio Txeru fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Lepá FC's protests and gave Fulgencio Txeru a yellow card for diving instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabian Atauri in the 13th minute of play forced Lepá FC's goalkeeper Marcos Orzaize to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Fabian Atauri fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored River Plate CABALLITO's protests and gave Fabian Atauri a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Lepá FC booed when River Plate CABALLITO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabian Atauri didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Lepá FC's Blas Bernal in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Domingo Aureo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Marcos Orzaize tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Domingo Aureo came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the River Plate CABALLITO fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Domingo Aureo couldn't finish the play. After 43 minutes of play, River Plate CABALLITO's Domingo Aureo made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcos Orzaize was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 48 played minutes Lepá FC got a freekick which was hit by Jimeno Jakobe.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fabian Atauri to strike the kick off in the second half. Blas Bernal was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 68th minute. Lepá FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Benito Inocente shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. In the 78th minute, Hilario Enaut hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fulgencio Txeru hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Fabian Atauri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcos Orzaize having to interfere. After 102 played minutes River Plate CABALLITO got a freekick which was hit by Vicente Eneto.
