Tres Plumas's Rogelio Alvarez started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Cornelio Lizardi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sergio Cesaro in the 2nd minute of the match. Sergio Cesaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sergio Cesaro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Cornelio Lizardi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 12 minutes into the match, Tres Plumas's goal looked a bit too open when Sergio Cesaro came free, but Cornelio Lizardi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 20 minutes into the game, Pearson FC's Sergio Cesaro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cornelio Lizardi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After 26 played minutes Tres Plumas got a freekick which was hit by Honorato Leguizamón. Sergio Cesaro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aquilino Vincente could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Cornelio Lizardi made a huge save. In the 33rd minute Sergio Cesaro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cornelio Lizardi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 35 minutes, Cornelio Lizardi successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rogelio Alvarez in the 36th minute of play forced Pearson FC's goalkeeper Valentin Ostadar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aquilino Vincente in the 38thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Cornelio Lizardi, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 43rd minute, Tres Plumas's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Justino Martinez fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Aquilino Vincente blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cornelio Lizardi having to make a save. Sergio Cesaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sergio Cesaro to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sergio Cesaro in the 52nd minute of play forced Tres Plumas's goalkeeper Cornelio Lizardi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 58 minutes into the match, Tres Plumas's goal looked a bit too open when Aquilino Vincente came free, but Cornelio Lizardi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Sergio Cesaro came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Pearson FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sergio Cesaro couldn't finish the play. Cornelio Lizardi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sergio Cesaro's shot from short distance in the 67th minute. 69 minutes into the match, Guido Gonzalez notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Tres Plumas's Cornelio Lizardi. Cornelio Lizardi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 71st match minute, Pearson FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guido Gonzalez to maneuver through the defense. Cornelio Lizardi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sergio Cesaro, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Cornelio Lizardi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sergio Cesaro in the 77th minute of play. Sergio Cesaro struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Cornelio Lizardi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pearson FC. Rogelio Alvarez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 87 played minutes Pearson FC got a freekick which was hit by Guido Gonzalez. A collision led to Tres Plumas getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Bernardo Ferrer hit a great ball. The Pearson FC fans' excitement grew in the 91st match minute when Pearson FC's Sergio Cesaro looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Pearson FC fully deserved thier win.
