The tension between the Club Sportivo Balnearia and the Arana players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 7 played minutes Club Sportivo Balnearia got a freekick which was hit by Apolo Rodriguez. Clemente Galo was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 8th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. If Marcelino Hermelando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 20 played minutes Arana got a freekick which was hit by Uriel Vimaro. After a defensive mix-up in Arana's zone, Cayetano Perpinya stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dario Guillen came out of the goal and Cayetano Perpinya tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Apolo Rodriguez hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. In the 34th match minute, Arana was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Uriel Vimaro to maneuver through the defense. When Cayetano Perpinya came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Club Sportivo Balnearia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cayetano Perpinya couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelino Hermelando in the 42nd minute of play forced Club Sportivo Balnearia's goalkeeper Olaf Dziurowicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Henry Stock sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marcelino Hermelando stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Henry Stock managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Sportivo Balnearia's supporters rose to their feet, but Henry Stock was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dario Guillen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cayetano Perpinya in the 52nd minute of play forced Arana's goalkeeper Dario Guillen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Tales Medeiros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 62nd minute, Cayetano Perpinya left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Club Sportivo Balnearia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Uriel Vimaro hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match.
