After 42 played minutes Chañar AFC got a freekick which was hit by Gervasio Piarres. When Celestino Osasun came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Chañar AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Celestino Osasun couldn't finish the play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edgard Enol made a kick off. When Santiago Daunte fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Polvareda F.C's protests and gave Santiago Daunte a yellow card for diving instead. After 52 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Polvareda F.C! If Ciriaco Jeraldo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 68 minutes into the match, Chañar AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Edgard Enol came free, but Gregorio Gonzales reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 81st minute, Genaro Lluciano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 84 minutes into the match, Celestino Osasun notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Polvareda F.C's Damaso Bartolome. Damaso Bartolome was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Edgard Enol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Guido Markel charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down.
