Santiago Herensuge hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. In the 21st minute, Zeledon Valentine hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rosendo Macias recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 24 minutes into the match, Beruti's goal looked a bit too open when Casimiro Nikola came free, but Donato Gaueko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Bonifacio Jurgi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Donato Gaueko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Casimiro Nikola in the 31st minute of play. In the 33rd minute, Chaschuil's Casimiro Nikola ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Donato Gaueko. Donato Gaueko yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Beruti's Mateo Crispo got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alejo Bernat charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alejo Bernat the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mateo Crispo in the 41st minute of play forced Chaschuil's goalkeeper Victorino Argider to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alejo Bernat was shown his second yellow card after 42 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Rosendo Macias hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mateo Crispo to make the kick off. Zeledon Valentine's late challenge caught a Chaschuil's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zeledon Valentine helped the player get up and apologised. In the 58th minute, Zeledon Valentine hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 66th minute Gerardo Favila suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. 67 minutes into the game, Anibal Jerico was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Beruti's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chaschuil the free kick. Mateo Crispo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Victorino Argider tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mateo Crispo took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Victorino Argider. Victorino Argider dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Beruti played a much better game than Chaschuil and deserved their victory. The Chaschuil players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
