In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Niupi FC's goalkeeper Christian Lop, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Diego Neto struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Christian Lop didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nikizanga FC. Christian Lop showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Colon Ré, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Niupi FC's Christian Lop played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Colon Ré in the 33rd minute of play. Emanuel Chorache fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Lop having to interfere. Christian Lop made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Chorache in the 49th minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Emanuel Chorache made a kick off. In the 54th match minute, Nikizanga FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diego Neto to maneuver through the defense. Serafin Cordeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Tadeo Filipo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 60 minutes into the match, Niupi FC's goal looked a bit too open when Emanuel Chorache came free, but Christian Lop reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Christian Lop showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuel Chorache in the 64th minute of the match. Serafin Cordeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Serafin Cordeiro in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tadeo Filipo saved Nikizanga FC from getting behind. When Colon Ré came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Nikizanga FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Colon Ré couldn't finish the play. Colon Ré could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Christian Lop made a huge save. Niupi FC's Christian Lop proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Niupi FC from getting a goal against them. Nikizanga FC's Placido Gonchan pulled a muscle in his back after 75 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 75 minutes, Santos Romero mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Niupi FC and the Nikizanga FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 76 played minutes Niupi FC got a freekick which was hit by Santos Romero. Colon Ré could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Christian Lop made a huge save. 80 minutes into the match, Niupi FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eulalio Rafel came free, but Christian Lop reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Colon Ré had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Niupi FC's Nicanor Sidoro got a free kick in the 87th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Colon Ré managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nikizanga FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Colon Ré was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Christian Lop breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 93 minutes into the game, Eulalio Rafel cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Christian Lop was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Niupi FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 96th minute, when Colon Ré scored to the left of an out of position Christian Lop, making the score, 0-2. The Nikizanga FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
