Spectators: 7165 (Terracing: 5446, Seating: 1669, VIP seats: 50) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Rolando Maju got the match started through his kick off. In the 4th minute Julio Maurin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christian Lop saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Serafin Cordeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 7th minute, Silverio Godoy hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 13th minute the ball was on its way in behind Niupi FC's goalkeeper Christian Lop, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Julio Maurin struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Christian Lop didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Reta. Serafin Cordeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alejo Ugaitz having to interfere. Jeremias Bernard charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jeremias Bernard the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 27th match minute, Niupi FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeremias Bernard to maneuver through the defense. Marcos Rayman kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Julio Maurin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Christian Lop tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Niupi FC getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Santos Romero hit a great ball. Angelino Handi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Christian Lop made a huge save. Niupi FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Julio Maurin 40 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. When Angelino Handi came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Reta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Angelino Handi couldn't finish the play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Julio Maurin was the one to do the kick off. Julio Maurin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Christian Lop read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. After having played for 54 minutes, Serafin Cordeiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Niupi FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Serafin Cordeiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Reta's Alejo Ugaitz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Reta from getting a goal against them. 59 minutes into the match, Reta's goal looked a bit too open when Rolando Maju came free, but Alejo Ugaitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rolando Maju's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alejo Ugaitz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. Christian Lop made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julio Maurin in the 62nd minute of play. Hugo Haitz hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Angelino Handi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Christian Lop tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 70th minute, Angelino Handi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 71stth minute of the game Julio Maurin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Niupi FC's Christian Lop was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Julio Maurin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Christian Lop made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julio Maurin in the 79th minute of play. When Serafin Cordeiro came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Niupi FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Serafin Cordeiro couldn't finish the play. Serafin Cordeiros short, quick shot in the 82ndth minute got Alejo Ugaitz to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When Diego Amato fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Niupi FC's protests and gave Diego Amato a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Niupi FC getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Diego Amato hit a great ball. If Julio Maurin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 91st minute Benigno Vitin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christian Lop saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Reta's Alejo Ugaitz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Reta from getting a goal against them. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Angelino Handi in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Christian Lop saved Niupi FC from getting behind. A well placed Rolando Maju short distance shot in the 96th minute ended with a hard ball which without a chance for the goalkeeper went staright up into the goalkeepers left cross.
