Maximo Chico sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Mateo Crispo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Beruti's supporters rose to their feet, but Mateo Crispo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. İsmail Zafer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mateo Crispo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Igor Laffitte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Ambrosio Bartuelo hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Zeledon Valentine's shot from long distance in the 53rd minute was not bad at all, but La peste blanca's İsmail Zafer knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. Erubiel Leheren took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Donato Gaueko. Donato Gaueko dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In a very dangerous position, a player in Beruti fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 59th minute. Penalty! Donato Gaueko had in the 62ndth minute some difficulties stopping Benicio Ralondo's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 63 minutes into the match, La peste blanca's goal looked a bit too open when Santiago Herensuge came free, but İsmail Zafer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 64th minute, Zeledon Valentine hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mateo Crispo kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. In the 92nd match minute, Beruti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zeledon Valentine to maneuver through the defense. In the 94th minute Reynaldo Maties shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Donato Gaueko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 96 played minutes La peste blanca got a freekick which was hit by Celedonio Tercero. La peste blanca's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
