Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Chuquis AFC's Eduardo Burutzagi started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Chuquis AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Utracán AFC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Chuquis AFC's Nereo Artizar got a free kick in the 15th minute. 16 minutes into the match, Chuquis AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Gaudencio Seguinus came free, but Silvano Palban reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Blas Felo kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. A collision led to Chuquis AFC getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Pastor Tano hit a great ball. Tomas Goren charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tomas Goren the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Utracán AFC's Marcos Rosalio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeremias Enekoitz in the 24th minute of play. But to his dismay, Eduardo Burutzagi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. After the first half Chuquis AFC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 54th minute, Javier Hats ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Silvano Palban was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2.
