After recieving a nice pass, Atletico Varela's Leonides Berdoi tried to score from far away in the 28th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 30th minute, Domingo Oliverios ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Raul Cresitobalo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Gustavo Fagondo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raul Cresitobalo having to interfere. If Domingo Oliverios had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 44 minutes into the match, GDA.Fc.'s goal looked a bit too open when Gustavo Fagondo came free, but Raul Cresitobalo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fabricio Tajo to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Atletico Varela's Domingo Oliverios dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. Octavio Distiratsu was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. 87 minutes into the match, Fabricio Tajo notched a goal, 3-3, to the right of Atletico Varela's Octavio Distiratsu. Octavio Distiratsu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 92 minutes into the match, GDA.Fc.'s goalkeeper Raul Cresitobalo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gustavo Fagondo. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gustavo Fagondo got free with Raul Cresitobalo in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
