Spectators: 6763 (Terracing: 5100, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Victorino Criston made the kick off which started today's match. 3 minutes into the match, Gessler FC's goal looked a bit too open when Basilio Remicio came free, but Eustacio Benitez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Higinio Suarez during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 4th minute, Higinio Suarez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eustacio Benitez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mauricio Santxol in the 5th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Mauricio Santxol managed to get in a good position for a shot. LAMERMA's supporters rose to their feet, but Mauricio Santxol was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eustacio Benitez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 13 played minutes LAMERMA got a freekick which was hit by Domingo Txilar. Gessler FC's Serafino Orixe shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 14th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Froilan Millrick but with some difficulty. Gessler FC's Eustacio Benitez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mauricio Santxol in the 17th minute of play. Basilio Remicio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eustacio Benitez having to interfere. Mauricio Santxol hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Mauricio Santxol's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eustacio Benitez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. Fermin Castulo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eustacio Benitez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mauricio Santxol, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. In the 43rd minute of the match Domingo Txilar shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eustacio Benitez showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Mauricio Santxol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Basilio Remicio to strike the kick off in the second half. Lorenzo Petri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Froilan Millrick having to interfere. Froilan Millrick showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lorenzo Petri, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. In the 62nd minute, Basilio Remicio fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Eustacio Benitez, passed just outside the right post. If Lorenzo Petri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Eustacio Benitez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Basilio Remicio in the 82nd minute of play. A hard shot 83 in the game by Mauricio Santxol from a close distance when the talented Eustacio Benitez managed to make a qualified save. Gessler FC's players were relieved. If Lorenzo Petri had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. LAMERMA's Mauricio Santxol got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
