After having played for 10 minutes, Anacleto Bordat managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gaypón AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anacleto Bordat was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Amado Azeari had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the last second Gilberto Vito throw himself and got hold of the ball when Amado Azeari in the 17thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Amado Azeari recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Adan Quilo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 33rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Iker Criston. TakefullSpa's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ildefonso Etxatxu's late challenge caught a TakefullSpa's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ildefonso Etxatxu helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Gaypón AFC's Ildefonso Etxatxu got a free kick in the 42nd minute.

Gilberto Vito showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amado Azeari in the 55th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enzo Chuse in the 59th minute of play forced Gaypón AFC's goalkeeper Gilberto Vito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Anacleto Bordat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Enzo Chuse received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Gilberto Vito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 77 minutes of play, TakefullSpa's Enzo Chuse made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gilberto Vito was left in no man's land by his defense there! Everardo Sagrario fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iker Criston having to interfere. With his leg Iker Criston managed to avoid a goal in the 89thth minute, when Gaypón AFC's Anacleto Bordat fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anacleto Bordat got free with Iker Criston in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gaypón AFC were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
