Spectators: 6675 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1675, VIP seats: 0) Everardo Sagrario made the kick off and thus started the match. After some careless play in the Gaypón AFC defense, Desiderio Pacifico kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gilberto Vito. The Gaypón AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gilberto Vito should have stopped the shot. 13 minutes into the match, Gaypón AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Desiderio Pacifico came free, but Gilberto Vito reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tadeo Corderall's late challenge caught a Gaypón AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tadeo Corderall helped the player get up and apologised. 20 minutes into the match, Jotacé FC's goalkeeper Folmar Knipping had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Anacleto Bordat. Folmar Knipping was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Everardo Sagrario showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 21 minute of play. Claudio Lope received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Gilberto Vito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tadeo Uxio charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tadeo Uxio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 28th match minute, Jotacé FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tadeo Uxio to maneuver through the defense. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Jotacé FC's goalkeeper Folmar Knipping, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Everardo Sagrario had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Claudio Lope recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gilberto Vito took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tadeo Corderall, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 48th minute Claudio Lope shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilberto Vito saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

After 52 played minutes Gaypón AFC got a freekick which was hit by Adan Quilo. After a defensive mix-up in Gaypón AFC's zone, Claudio Lope stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gilberto Vito came out of the goal and Claudio Lope tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Claudio Lope fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilberto Vito having to interfere. Tadeo Uxio got his second yellow card in the match during the 75th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a rather tough play, Jotacé FC's Tadeo Uxio got a free kick in the 76th minute. In the 77th minute, one of Jotacé FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Jotacé FC. Claudio Lope might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gilberto Vito. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Claudio Lope ran back to his position shaking his head. 85 minutes into the match, Esteve Quintana dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Gilberto Vito, 2-2. Claudio Lope sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Esteve Quintana recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Claudio Lope blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gilberto Vito having to make a save. When Adan Quilo fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gaypón AFC's protests and gave Adan Quilo a yellow card for diving instead.
