After a defensive mix-up in Deportivo LGBT's zone, Valentin Lauro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Blas Mitxaut came out of the goal and Valentin Lauro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Blas Mitxaut made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vicente Rufo in the 31st minute of play. Deportivo LGBT's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Arnulfo Gumaro 32 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Valentin Lauro got free with Blas Mitxaut in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Julio Ortle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Marcos Pueblo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arnulfo Gumaro was the one to do the kick off. Vladimiro Procopio's late challenge caught a Pipo Palomo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pipo Palomo's Marcos Pueblo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilfredo Tonio in the 59th minute of play. Arnulfo Gumaro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee gave Pipo Palomo a penalty, 67 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Alejandro Domenec, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Deportivo LGBT's Blas Mitxaut. 4-0. Arnulfo Gumaro scored 5-0 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Blas Mitxaut, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 84th minute, Julio Ortle got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Blas Mitxaut showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valentin Lauro in the 87th minute of the match. Julio Ortle's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcos Pueblo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 98th minute of play. Valentin Lauro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 101st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Pipo Palomo had won after a very even match.
