He was immediately shown a red card. 4 minutes into the game, one of Choripan Unión Social:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 7th minute there was a penalty for Mesada. Eusebio Teodor stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Raimundo Eliu. 0-1. If Agustin Vargas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Enzo Duarte's late challenge caught a Mesada's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Enzo Duarte helped the player get up and apologised. Jimeno Quinto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Choripan Unión Social's Silvestre Barto got a free kick in the 21st minute. Choripan Unión Social's Jimeno Quinto got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jimeno Quinto's late challenge caught a Mesada's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jimeno Quinto helped the player get up and apologised. Raimundo Eliu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Erubiel Acevedo's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. 36 minutes into the match, Erubiel Acevedo notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Choripan Unión Social's Raimundo Eliu. Raimundo Eliu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jimeno Quinto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Dionisio Gonchan made a huge save. Raimundo Eliu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Agustin Vargas's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. If Agustin Vargas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agustin Vargas in the 48th minute of play forced Choripan Unión Social's goalkeeper Raimundo Eliu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half Mesada were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Agustin Vargas to make the kick off. After 55 played minutes Choripan Unión Social got a freekick which was hit by Silvestre Barto. 64 minutes into the match, Choripan Unión Social's goal looked a bit too open when Agustin Vargas came free, but Raimundo Eliu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 66 minutes into the game, Florentino Rio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mesada's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Choripan Unión Social the free kick. Honorato Txatxu hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. A collision led to Mesada getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Honorato Txatxu hit a great ball. Jimeno Quinto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dionisio Gonchan having to interfere. In the 78th minute, Geronimo Reynardo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Godfredo Sasoin charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Godfredo Sasoin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Choripan Unión Social's Godfredo Sasoin got a free kick in the 80th minute. Agustin Vargas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raimundo Eliu having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Choripan Unión Social's zone, Agustin Vargas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Raimundo Eliu came out of the goal and Agustin Vargas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Enzo Duarte in the 89th minute of play forced Mesada's goalkeeper Dionisio Gonchan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 89th match minute, Mesada was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Florentino Rio to maneuver through the defense. Agustin Vargas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Raimundo Eliu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Mesada players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
