Spectators: 6652 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1652, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Roberto Franco took the kick off in the first half of the match. Jeronimo Marcones took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Camilo Leheren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 5 played minutes Lomitas got a freekick which was hit by Filiberto Sauveur. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Epifanio Botello managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mixto's supporters rose to their feet, but Epifanio Botello was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Felix Urko breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Damian Ferdinand sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Felix Urko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damian Ferdinand in the 18th minute of play. Jeronimo Marcones made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alvaro Berasko in the 21st minute. Damian Ferdinand received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Felix Urko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Mixto booed when Lomitas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcelo Ovando didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Rodolfo Kimetz fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mixto's protests and gave Rodolfo Kimetz a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Mixto's Rodolfo Kimetz got a free kick in the 27th minute. When Mixto's Roberto Franco in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Lomitas's goalie prevented a goal. Jeronimo Marcones showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Camilo Leheren in the 34th minute of the match. In the 36th minute, Damian Ferdinand ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Felix Urko was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Lomitas's Felix Urko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roberto Franco in the 44th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

A collision led to Mixto getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Rodolfo Kimetz hit a great ball. Alvaro Berasko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 59th minute, Astor Francho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Damian Ferdinand received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Felix Urko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lomitas's Felix Urko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodolfo Kimetz in the 65th minute of play. If Alvaro Berasko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Camilo Leheren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lucio Osasun during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 74th match minute, Lomitas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucio Osasun to maneuver through the defense. 75 minutes into the match, Mixto's Epifanio Botello broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. Damian Ferdinand sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roberto Franco in the 84th minute of play forced Lomitas's goalkeeper Felix Urko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 85 minutes into the match, Mixto's Damian Ferdinand sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Felix Urko narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Felix Urko made an important save on a dangerous shot by Damian Ferdinand in the 96th minute. The Mixto supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Mixto would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
