Raimundo Magdaleno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 2nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeronimo Marcones having to interfere. Raul Ortle recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vladimiro Ignado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damian Ferdinand in the 9th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damian Ferdinand in the 10th minute of play forced WILD TURKEY's goalkeeper Vladimiro Ignado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Damian Ferdinand had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Roberto Franco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mixto's supporters rose to their feet, but Roberto Franco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vladimiro Ignado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Vladimiro Ignado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roberto Franco in the 18th minute of play. After 20 played minutes Mixto got a freekick which was hit by Rodolfo Kimetz. In the 30th minute, Raimundo Magdaleno fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Rodolfo Kimetz hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Raul Ortle got free with Jeronimo Marcones in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Roberto Franco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vladimiro Ignado having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damian Ferdinand in the 44th minute of play forced WILD TURKEY's goalkeeper Vladimiro Ignado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vladimiro Ignado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roberto Franco, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. In the 48th minute Roberto Franco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vladimiro Ignado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Raimundo Magdaleno made the kick off in the second half. When Melquiades Sol fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored WILD TURKEY's protests and gave Melquiades Sol a yellow card for diving instead. Melquiades Sol hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. After 62 minutes, Remigio Maraman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mixto and the WILD TURKEY players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Mixto's Remigio Maraman got a free kick in the 62nd minute. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Mixto's goalkeeper Jeronimo Marcones, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Raimundo Magdaleno's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jeronimo Marcones read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. 78 minutes into the match, WILD TURKEY's goalkeeper Vladimiro Ignado had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Remigio Maraman. Raul Ortle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Jeronimo Marcones tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 90 minutes, Raimundo Magdaleno managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. WILD TURKEY's supporters crossed their fingers, but Raimundo Magdaleno was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
