Cirilo Cesario came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Acostilla FC's Tadeo Bixintxo. But to his dismay, Tadeo Bixintxo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 6th match minute, Tumberos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armando Eli to maneuver through the defense. Acostilla FC's Siro Ferman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Acostilla FC from getting a goal against them. When Lisandro Rivas fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tumberos FC's protests and gave Lisandro Rivas a yellow card for diving instead. In the 16th minute, Lisandro Rivas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 19th minute, Augusto Martino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Siro Ferman made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Armando Eli sent off a good shot on target. When Armando Eli fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tumberos FC's protests and gave Armando Eli a yellow card for diving instead. After 22 played minutes Tumberos FC got a freekick which was hit by Armando Eli. Acostilla FC's Siro Ferman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Augusto Martino in the 27th minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, Armando Rio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Siro Ferman. Acostilla FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Armando Rio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Augusto Martino in the 38th minute of play forced Acostilla FC's goalkeeper Siro Ferman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 41st minute Augusto Martino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Siro Ferman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 47 minutes into the match, Acostilla FC's goal looked a bit too open when Augusto Martino came free, but Siro Ferman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

52 minutes into the game, Tumberos FC's Augusto Martino nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Siro Ferman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Augusto Martino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Siro Ferman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 57 minutes into the match, Tumberos FC's Armando Eli sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Siro Ferman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Augusto Martino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tumberos FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Augusto Martino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Siro Ferman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 64 played minutes Tumberos FC got a freekick which was hit by Alfredo Udalaitz. In the 71st minute, Alonzo Cordero left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tumberos FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. Florencio Ferrer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Siro Ferman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armando Eli in the 89th minute of play. Acostilla FC's Siro Ferman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Armando Eli in the 91st minute of play. 5-1 became the score in the 92nd minute when Augusto Martino elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Tumberos FC fully deserved thier win.
