When Deportivo Villa Aguirre's Rodrigo Avellaneda, in the 33rd minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Deportivo Villa Aguirre. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Rodrigo Avellaneda managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deportivo Villa Aguirre's supporters rose to their feet, but Rodrigo Avellaneda was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Felix Urko breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 38th minute, Camilo Leheren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Damaso Gilen hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Marcelo Ovando took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 41st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Emiliano Gaxan. Deportivo Villa Aguirre's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 44 minutes into the match, Deportivo Villa Aguirre's goal looked a bit too open when Camilo Leheren came free, but Emiliano Gaxan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Deportivo Villa Aguirre defense, Alvaro Berasko kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Emiliano Gaxan. The Deportivo Villa Aguirre fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Emiliano Gaxan should have stopped the shot. If Alvaro Berasko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rodrigo Avellaneda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Felix Urko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 86th minute Primitivo Loi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felix Urko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 91st minute of the match, Rodrigo Avellaneda got a very nice opportunity to score, but Felix Urko was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 91 minutes into the game, Camilo Leheren was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Lomitas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Deportivo Villa Aguirre the free kick. In the 92nd match minute, Lomitas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camilo Leheren to maneuver through the defense. Felix Urko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Primitivo Loi in the 94th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Lomitas had won after a very even match.
