Isidro Calvino came out of the goal and Leonel Menendo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 30 minutes, Leonel Menendo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chaco For ever's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leonel Menendo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Leonel Menendo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Feliberto Ofelio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Narciso Selmo hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. The corner led Chaco For ever's Luis Monico to fire away a dangerous shot which Isidro Calvino despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 90th minute Feliberto Ofelio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Oscar Feliu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Falso Nueve fans cheered their team off the field, for while Chaco For ever had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
