When Leonel Menendo came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Chaco For ever fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leonel Menendo couldn't finish the play. Feliberto Ofelio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oscar Feliu having to interfere. Segundo Romano hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Oscar Feliu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Feliberto Ofelio in the 20th minute of the match. A collision led to Falso Nueve getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Bernardino Loco hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Feliberto Ofelio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Falso Nueve's supporters rose to their feet, but Feliberto Ofelio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Oscar Feliu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Oscar Feliu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Conrado Cordeal in the 24th minute of the match. In the 30th minute, Feliberto Ofelio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Feliberto Ofelio might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Oscar Feliu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Feliberto Ofelio ran back to his position shaking his head. Oscar Feliu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Conrado Cordeal's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. 37 minutes into the match, Falso Nueve's goal looked a bit too open when Narciso Selmo came free, but Isidro Calvino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 38th minute, Leonel Menendo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Chaco For ever getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Gaspar Tonio hit a great ball. Leonel Menendo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Isidro Calvino read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. 48 minutes into the match, Chaco For ever's Narciso Selmo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Isidro Calvino narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

After a rather tough play, Chaco For ever's Gaspar Tonio got a free kick in the 59th minute. After having played for 63 minutes, Conrado Cordeal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Falso Nueve's supporters crossed their fingers, but Conrado Cordeal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Feliberto Ofelio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 68th minute, one of Falso Nueve:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Falso Nueve. In the 70th minute there was a penalty for Chaco For ever. Luis Monico stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Isidro Calvino. 1-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leonel Menendo during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Leonel Menendo kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. After having played for 79 minutes, Narciso Selmo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chaco For ever's supporters crossed their fingers, but Narciso Selmo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Chaco For ever fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Chaco For ever's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
