Maximino Polo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Denis Oton in the 10th minute of play. Gerardo Hitzeder scored 0-1 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Maximino Polo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gerardo Hitzeder might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Maximino Polo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gerardo Hitzeder ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 18 minutes, Gerardo Hitzeder managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El Terco F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Gerardo Hitzeder was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Joel Enetz's late challenge caught a El Terco F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Joel Enetz helped the player get up and apologised. In the 19th minute, Joel Enetz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Maximino Polo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Denis Oton in the 19th minute of play. Constantino Ubendu struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Thanasis Tapinos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Villa San Carlos. Villa San Carlos's Maximino Polo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gerardo Hitzeder in the 30th minute of play. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Villa San Carlos's goalkeeper Maximino Polo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Denis Oton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gerardo Hitzeder in the 43rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maximino Polo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gerardo Hitzeder recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gerardo Hitzeder might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Maximino Polo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gerardo Hitzeder ran back to his position shaking his head. The Villa San Carlos players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. El Terco F.C. were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gerardo Hitzeder was the one to do the kick off. Leopoldo Dimo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thanasis Tapinos having to interfere. In the 55th minute, Denis Oton got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Maximino Polo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gerardo Hitzeder's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Iker Lluc during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Iker Lluc kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. If Constantino Ubendu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gerardo Hitzeder fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximino Polo having to interfere. 72 minutes into the match, Villa San Carlos's goal looked a bit too open when Gerardo Hitzeder came free, but Maximino Polo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Denis Oton got free with Maximino Polo in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gerardo Hitzeder sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 78th minute Constantino Ubendu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thanasis Tapinos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Baldomiro Santo kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Thanasis Tapinos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Constantino Ubendu, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Thanasis Tapinos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leopoldo Dimo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
