Baldomiro Santo's late challenge caught a Falso Nueve's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Baldomiro Santo helped the player get up and apologised. After 8 played minutes El Terco F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Baldomiro Santo. 9 minutes into the match, Falso Nueve's Eustacio Polo broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After a defensive mix-up in El Terco F.C.'s zone, Conrado Cordeal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thanasis Tapinos came out of the goal and Conrado Cordeal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 16 minutes, Eulalio Oso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El Terco F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Eulalio Oso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of El Terco F.C. booed when Falso Nueve was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zacarias Ladio didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Denis Oton came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the El Terco F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Denis Oton couldn't finish the play. El Terco F.C.'s Denis Oton got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gerardo Hitzeder sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gerardo Hitzeder in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Isidro Calvino prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to El Terco F.C. getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Alfredo Min hit a great ball. After recieving a nice pass, Falso Nueve's Eustacio Polo tried to score from far away in the 26th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Gerardo Hitzeder took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Isidro Calvino. Isidro Calvino dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Isidro Calvino didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gerardo Hitzeder went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. The supporters of El Terco F.C. booed when Falso Nueve was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernardino Loco didn't get a good kick on the ball. The attack was good, but when Denis Oton in the 36th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Feliberto Ofelio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thanasis Tapinos having to interfere. Denis Oton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Conrado Cordeal was the one to do the kick off. Thanasis Tapinos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Conrado Cordeal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zacarias Ladio kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Falso Nueve's defense didn't have a chance, in the 63rd minute, when Gerardo Hitzeder scored to the left of an out of position Isidro Calvino, making the score, 0-4. In the last second Isidro Calvino throw himself and got hold of the ball when Gerardo Hitzeder in the 66thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. 71 minutes into the match, Falso Nueve's goalkeeper Isidro Calvino had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eulalio Oso. After a defensive mix-up in Falso Nueve's zone, Denis Oton stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Isidro Calvino came out of the goal and Denis Oton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eustacio Polo was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 90th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After having played for 92 minutes, Gerardo Hitzeder managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El Terco F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Gerardo Hitzeder was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. El Terco F.C.'s players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
