C. de la Rivera's Ruben Vergaray shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Emiliano Matei came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in F. C. de la Rivera reached it. Higinio Sindo struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Emiliano Matei didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for F. C. de la Rivera. Santo Vitin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Isaias Serafo charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Isaias Serafo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 14 played minutes F. C. de la Rivera got a freekick which was hit by Isaias Serafo. After a rather tough play, Atletico Ruta 11's Jairo Cristofor got a free kick in the 15th minute. Aristides Cordeara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jairo Cristofor in the 20th minute of play. 21 minutes into the match, Santo Vitin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Emiliano Matei. Atletico Ruta 11's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Santo Vitin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 30th minute, Elpidio Rocio sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Atletico Ruta 11's Emiliano Matei didn't even have to move. Santo Vitin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Santo Vitin took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Emiliano Matei. Emiliano Matei dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Santo Vitin struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Feliberto Martxelin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Feliberto Martxelin in the 58th minute of play forced F. C. de la Rivera's goalkeeper Aristides Cordeara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jairo Cristofor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aristides Cordeara having to interfere. Aristides Cordeara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jairo Cristofor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aristides Cordeara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jairo Cristofor in the 65th minute of play. Santo Vitin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Emiliano Matei tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Feliberto Martxelin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 93 minutes, Timoteo Meder mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the F. C. de la Rivera and the Atletico Ruta 11 players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 93rd minute, one of F. C. de la Rivera:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for F. C. de la Rivera. 97 minutes into the match, Feliberto Martxelin notched a goal, 3-3, to the right of F. C. de la Rivera's Aristides Cordeara. Aristides Cordeara was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
