After 18 minutes of play, Racing Club's Igor Lopes made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aristides Cordeara was left in no man's land by his defense there! Santo Vitin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fermin Timo having to interfere. In the 28th minute, Isaias Serafo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 29 played minutes F. C. de la Rivera got a freekick which was hit by Isaias Serafo. In the 30th minute of the match Venancio Fonso sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aristides Cordeara skillfully saved the ball. After 32 minutes, Robustiano Ruy mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Racing Club and the F. C. de la Rivera players grew even worse after the yellow card. Robustiano Ruy hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. When Santo Vitin came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the F. C. de la Rivera fans jumped to their feet. Higinio Sindos short, quick shot in the 41stth minute got Fermin Timo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Higinio Sindo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Fermin Timo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bernabe Lluciano made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Higinio Sindo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Robustiano Ruy hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Higinio Sindo kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Fermin Timo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Santo Vitin, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. If Bernabe Lluciano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, F. C. de la Rivera's Abelardo Natanael got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Thanks to some nice moves Igor Lopes could shoot a difficult shot in the 83rd minute, which Aristides Cordeara however easily saved by the left post. In the 85th minute Robustiano Ruy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aristides Cordeara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Racing Club's Robustiano Ruy got a free kick in the 87th minute. 94 minutes into the match, F. C. de la Rivera's goal looked a bit too open when Bernabe Lluciano came free, but Aristides Cordeara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 95th minute, F. C. de la Rivera's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Igor Lopes fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Racing Club eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
