Spectators: 7218 (Terracing: 5415, Seating: 1660, VIP seats: 143) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. The referee ignored Buchanan's protests and gave Casimiro Neron a yellow card for diving instead. In the 8th match minute, Buchanan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Casimiro Neron to maneuver through the defense. Buchanan's Prospero Cruz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santo Vitin in the 10th minute of play. Prospero Cruz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santo Vitin in the 11th minute of play. Prospero Cruz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Santo Vitin went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After having played for 18 minutes, Severiano Jerardo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Buchanan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Severiano Jerardo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Prospero Cruz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Santo Vitin in the 21st minute of the match. If Herminio Cortez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Higinio Sindo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 40 minutes into the game, Abelardo Natanael was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. F. C. de la Rivera's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Buchanan the free kick. Abelardo Natanael hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. In the 45th minute, Christian Benat hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After the first half F. C. de la Rivera were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Santo Vitin was the one to do the kick off. Aristides Cordeara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christian Benat in the 58th minute of the match. 59 minutes into the match, F. C. de la Rivera's goal looked a bit too open when Severiano Jerardo came free, but Aristides Cordeara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Teodosio Lordi hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. Buchanan's defense didn't have a chance, in the 64th minute, when Santo Vitin scored to the left of an out of position Prospero Cruz, making the score, 1-2. A collision led to F. C. de la Rivera getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Timoteo Meder hit a great ball. Prospero Cruz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Higinio Sindo in the 75th minute. If Santo Vitin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Higinio Sindo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Prospero Cruz having to interfere. After 81 played minutes F. C. de la Rivera got a freekick which was hit by Timoteo Meder. In the 84th match minute, F. C. de la Rivera was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albino Mendez to maneuver through the defense. In the 87th minute Severiano Jerardo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aristides Cordeara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Prospero Cruz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Santo Vitin's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
