Igor Lopes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emiliano Matei having to interfere. Emiliano Matei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernabe Lluciano in the 5th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernabe Lluciano in the 7th minute of play forced Atletico Ruta 11's goalkeeper Emiliano Matei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ernesto Dalmai during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Atletico Ruta 11 getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Ernesto Dalmai hit a great ball. In the 8th minute, Bernabe Lluciano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Racing Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 13th match minute, Racing Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Igor Lopes to maneuver through the defense. If Bernabe Lluciano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bernabe Lluciano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Feliberto Martxelins short, quick shot in the 26thth minute got Fermin Timo to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Atletico Ruta 11's Emiliano Matei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Igor Lopes in the 28th minute of play. Emiliano Matei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernabe Lluciano in the 29th minute of play. Bernabe Lluciano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 34 minutes of play Atletico Ruta 11's Ernesto Dalmai was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 35th match minute, Atletico Ruta 11 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ernesto Dalmai to maneuver through the defense. 37 minutes into the game, Racing Club's Bernabe Lluciano nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Emiliano Matei made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. When Jonathan Salomone fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Racing Club's protests and gave Jonathan Salomone a yellow card for diving instead. If Bernabe Lluciano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Atletico Ruta 11 players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Racing Club were winning 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bernabe Lluciano to make the kick off. Racing Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Igor Lopes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Igor Lopes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Atletico Ruta 11's supporters crossed their fingers, but Feliberto Martxelin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Racing Club's zone, Ismael Illan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fermin Timo came out of the goal and Ismael Illan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Igor Lopes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jairo Cristofor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fermin Timo having to interfere. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Racing Club walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
