Spectators: 6656 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1656, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Santo Vitin took the kick off in the first half of the match. F. C. de la Rivera's Aristides Cordeara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Feliberto Joseph in the 4th minute of play. Aristides Cordeara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Feliberto Joseph, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 6 minutes into the game, one of F. C. de la Rivera:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 8th minute there was a penalty for Antonio FC. Maximiliano Iraido stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Aristides Cordeara. 0-1. After 15 minutes of play, Antonio FC's Roque Abascal made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aristides Cordeara was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 23 played minutes F. C. de la Rivera got a freekick which was hit by Higinio Sindo. In the 26th minute Roque Abascal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aristides Cordeara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aristides Cordeara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Feliberto Joseph in the 31st minute of play. 33 minutes into the match, F. C. de la Rivera's goal looked a bit too open when Roque Abascal came free, but Aristides Cordeara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Feliberto Joseph managed to get in a good position for a shot. Antonio FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Feliberto Joseph was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aristides Cordeara breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 39 played minutes F. C. de la Rivera got a freekick which was hit by Isaias Serafo. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Feliberto Joseph in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aristides Cordeara saved F. C. de la Rivera from getting behind. Aristides Cordeara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Roque Abascal in the 46th minute of play. Higinio Sindo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 49th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.

56 minutes into the match, Antonio FC's Feliberto Joseph sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aristides Cordeara narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Feliberto Joseph fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aristides Cordeara having to interfere. If Isaias Serafo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Isaias Serafo fell near the penalty area in the 73rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored F. C. de la Rivera's protests and gave Isaias Serafo a yellow card for diving instead. Antonio FC's Gustavo Oihenarte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santo Vitin in the 77th minute of play. If Roque Abascal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Higinio Sindo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristo Casomiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aristides Cordeara having to interfere. Aristides Cordeara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roque Abascal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in F. C. de la Rivera's zone, Feliberto Joseph stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aristides Cordeara came out of the goal and Feliberto Joseph tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
