After having played for 11 minutes, Jairo Cristofor managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atletico Ruta 11's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jairo Cristofor was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Atletico Ruta 11's Emiliano Matei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roque Abascal in the 19th minute of play. Feliberto Martxelin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gustavo Oihenarte having to interfere. If Feliberto Joseph had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emiliano Matei stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Roque Abascal's shot from short distance in the 31st minute. Feliberto Martxelin in the 32ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Gustavo Oihenarte, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Roque Abascal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Antonio FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Roque Abascal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emiliano Matei breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cipriano Santana charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cipriano Santana the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 45th minute of the game. One of Atletico Ruta 11:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Antonio FC:s goal. Atletico Ruta 11:s Emiliano Matei showed great skill when he stopped Maximiliano Iraido:s penalty. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

In the 60th match minute, Atletico Ruta 11 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ernesto Dalmai to maneuver through the defense. When Feliberto Joseph came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Antonio FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Feliberto Joseph couldn't finish the play.
