Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Rolón FC's Florencio Ilixo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Florencio Ilixo in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jose Frichoso saved Luanco AFC from getting behind. Jose Frichoso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Florencio Ilixo's shot from short distance in the 4th minute. In the 6thth minute of the game Florencio Ilixo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Luanco AFC's Jose Frichoso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Florentino Rius got free with Jose Frichoso in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With an all-out effort, Rolón FC's Jose Frichoso threw himself towards the right post 10 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Florencio Ilixo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 12 minutes into the match, Saul Serapio notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Rolón FC's Alejo Gorri. Alejo Gorri was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jimeno Hondo got free with Jose Frichoso in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jimeno Hondo struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Jose Frichoso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rolón FC. When Rolón FC's Florencio Ilixo in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After a defensive mix-up in Luanco AFC's zone, Florencio Ilixo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jose Frichoso came out of the goal and Florencio Ilixo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 43 played minutes Luanco AFC got a freekick which was hit by Rigoberto Eneas. The referee felt a red card was in order, 46 minutes into the game, when Paulino Pelagius put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 46th minute of the game. One of Rolón FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Luanco AFC:s goal. Alejo Gorri went to the wrong direction when Natalio Rutenio was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Florentino Rius fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jose Frichoso having to interfere. Luanco AFC's Jose Frichoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Florencio Ilixo in the 56th minute of play. Florencio Ilixo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jose Frichoso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. If Florentino Rius had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 71st minute, Rigoberto Eneas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Florencio Ilixo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jose Frichoso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. Florencio Ilixo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alejo Gorri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benjamin Oriol in the 78th minute of the match. Jose Frichoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Feliberto Richie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 81 played minutes Luanco AFC got a freekick which was hit by Maximiliano Montay. Delmiro Ignatius, 82 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Florencio Ilixo struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Jose Frichoso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rolón FC. Benjamin Oriol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Florencio Ilixo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Jose Frichoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 90th match minute, Luanco AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maximiliano Mendiko to maneuver through the defense. Feliberto Richie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jose Frichoso having to interfere. If Florencio Ilixo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Rolón FC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
