Denis Hats's late challenge caught a Luanco AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Denis Hats helped the player get up and apologised. In the 36th minute, Denis Hats hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luanco AFC's Jose Frichoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anier Turi in the 43rd minute of play. Maximiliano Montay hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Anier Turi to strike the kick off in the second half. Fidel Santio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benjamin Oriol in the 70th minute of play. 75 minutes into the game, Barrancas FC's Esteve Dantae nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jose Frichoso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Amadeo Florinio hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Luanco AFC's Benjamin Oriol got a free kick in the 89th minute. 92 minutes into the match, Anier Turi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jose Frichoso. Luanco AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Anier Turi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. For all the effort they put into the match, the Luanco AFC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Barrancas FC.
