Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Adan Goito got the match started through his kick off. Ciriaco Shepherd came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by Deportivo San Mario's Celedonio Txatxu. But to his dismay, Celedonio Txatxu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Gonzalo Ibon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciriaco Shepherd having to interfere. Adan Goito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Rodrigo Hanot tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adan Goito in the 24th minute of play forced Deportivo San Mario's goalkeeper Rodrigo Hanot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chaparro's Adan Goito was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 28th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Chaparro's Epifanio Argenis got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Delmar Muno came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Deportivo San Mario fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Delmar Muno couldn't finish the play. When the match had gone on for 41 minutes, Omar Torres put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Ciriaco Shepherd. Ciriaco Shepherd stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gonzalo Ibon's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. The Chaparro players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Deportivo San Mario were winning 1-2.

The wind increased when Omar Torres made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Epifanio Argenis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rodrigo Hanot was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. 62 minutes into the match, Chaparro's goal looked a bit too open when Omar Torres came free, but Ciriaco Shepherd reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Celedonio Txatxu during the 64th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Celedonio Txatxu hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Rodrigo Hanot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adan Goito, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Gonzalo Ibon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deportivo San Mario's supporters rose to their feet, but Gonzalo Ibon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ciriaco Shepherd breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 72nd match minute, Deportivo San Mario was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celedonio Txatxu to maneuver through the defense. Gonzalo Ibon succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-3 in the 74th playminute. Ciriaco Shepherd took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Omar Torres, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gonzalo Ibon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ciriaco Shepherd read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. Deportivo San Mario played a much better game than Chaparro and deserved their victory. The Chaparro players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
