Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Filomeno Elorri started the match with the kick off. Roque Pinto's late challenge caught a Deportivo San Mario's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Roque Pinto helped the player get up and apologised. In the 3rd minute, Omar Torres got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gonzalo Ibon in the 10thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Augusto Playo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. With an all-out effort, Deportivo San Mario's Augusto Playo threw himself towards the right post 11 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Omar Torres, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. With a little luck, Canning FC's Augusto Playo got control of the ball when Gonzalo Ibon tried to sneak it across the goal line. Omar Torres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Canning FC's goalkeeper Augusto Playo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 25th minute, Joaquin Xacintu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 27 minutes into the match, Canning FC's goalkeeper Augusto Playo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gonzalo Ibon. Delmar Muno recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gonzalo Ibon who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 42ndth minute tested the skills of Augusto Playo when he managed to save the team from getting behind.

The wind increased when Omar Torres made the kick off in the second half. Gonzalo Ibon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Augusto Playo having to interfere. 57 minutes into the game, Alberto Iztal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Canning FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Deportivo San Mario the free kick. After 57 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Canning FC! In the 59th minute there was a penalty for Deportivo San Mario. Osvaldo Lastur stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Augusto Playo. 2-0. Omar Torres scored 3-0 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Augusto Playo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match had gone on for 68 minutes, Gonzalo Ibon put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Augusto Playo. In the 71st minute, Omar Torres got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Augusto Playo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gonzalo Ibon, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. After some careless play in the Canning FC defense, Gonzalo Ibon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Augusto Playo. The Canning FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Augusto Playo should have stopped the shot. Omar Torres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Gonzalo Ibon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deportivo San Mario's supporters rose to their feet, but Gonzalo Ibon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Augusto Playo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Omar Torres received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Augusto Playo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 98th minute, Osvaldo Lastur hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Deportivo San Mario's zone, Filomeno Elorri stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rodrigo Hanot came out of the goal and Filomeno Elorri tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee ended the match the Deportivo San Mario players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
