The Chaparro fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Ciriaco Shepherd made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Higinio Librado in the 8th minute of play. Higinio Librado blasted a shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ciriaco Shepherd having to make a save. Bernardino Ioritz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adan Goito in the 13th minute of the match. Epifanio Argenis struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Bernardino Ioritz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chaparro. Pozuelos's Bernardino Ioritz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adan Goito in the 19th minute of play. In the 21st minute, Higinio Librado ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ciriaco Shepherd was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Epifanio Argenis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Bernardino Ioritz made a huge save. Higinio Librado's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ciriaco Shepherd read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. Bernardino Ioritz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Epifanio Argenis in the 32nd minute. Higinio Librado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciriaco Shepherd having to interfere. Higinio Librado blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ciriaco Shepherd having to make a save. Ciriaco Shepherd took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Higinio Librado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Damian Oihan to strike the kick off in the second half. Lucio Donostia charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lucio Donostia the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 55 played minutes Pozuelos got a freekick which was hit by Lucio Donostia. Epifanio Argenis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Bernardino Ioritz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Roberto Michael kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. The supporters of Chaparro booed when Pozuelos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roberto Michael didn't get a good kick on the ball. 69 minutes into the match, Pozuelos's goal looked a bit too open when Epifanio Argenis came free, but Bernardino Ioritz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Roberto Michael hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. In the 91st minute Chaparro were awarded a corner. Celedonio Grabiel went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Celedonio Grabiel got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Bernardino Ioritz quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Higinio Librado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
