In the 16th minute, Cristo Lizer made a precise shot to the right of Ciriaco Shepherd. Chaparro's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Epifanio Argenis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chaparro's supporters rose to their feet, but Epifanio Argenis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Prospero Presebal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Prospero Presebal made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Epifanio Argenis sent off a good shot on target. Placido Norino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciriaco Shepherd having to interfere. Adan Goito might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Prospero Presebal. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Adan Goito ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chaparro's goalkeeper Ciriaco Shepherd, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Berazategui's Cristo Lizer got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 38th minute, one of Berazategui:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Berazategui. In the 40th minute, Chaparro got a penalty, and Celedonio Grabiel placed the ball unsaveable into goal, by the right post.

58 minutes into the match, Epifanio Argenis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Prospero Presebal. Berazategui's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Epifanio Argenis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Placido Norino was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 62nd minute. Berazategui's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 64 minutes into the game, Ulises Fernendo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chaparro's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Berazategui the free kick. The supporters of Berazategui booed when Chaparro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ulises Fernendo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristo Lizer in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ciriaco Shepherd prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ciriaco Shepherd showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristo Lizer, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Ciriaco Shepherd stood somewhat misplaced when Placido Norino came free in front of goal and shot 3-2 to the left of him in the 69 minute. 77 minutes into the match, Berazategui's goal looked a bit too open when Adan Goito came free, but Prospero Presebal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Placido Norino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Placido Norino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Ciriaco Shepherd tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adolfo Rik's late challenge caught a Berazategui's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adolfo Rik helped the player get up and apologised. Placido Norino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Berazategui's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
